This series of lumen prints was a collaboration between me and Filipino American artists Cyrena Rosati and Zak Ashburn. These prints were developed by us using acids found in common Filipino ingredients, such as soy sauce and vinegar, blending cultural elements with the chemistry of creation. In the images, we experiment with visual symbols that reflect our experiences as racially mixed Filipino and white Americans.
